 Brighton and Hove GC hosted our centenary Championships in blazing hot sunshine and provided super refreshments after play.

The Wentworth Smith is our flagship event..held this centenary year at East Brighton in hot sweltering sun, well done to all competitors...!

Results...

MIXED CUP2026

 Brighton & Hove GC hosted this year Mixed Cup, and provided a course well presented and an excellent lunch for all.

Morning results:-  B&H beat East Brighton 5-0,  and in the other semi Dyke lost to West Hove 3-2

So the afternoon PLATE match saw Dyke beat East Brighton 4-1

For the main trophy the home club Brighton and Hove again won all 5 matches against West Hove to secure the Centenary Mixed Cup trophy.

INTERMEDIATE CUP 2026

 Our centenary Intermediate Cup at Dyke GC was played in sweltering heat. Well done to all competitors for staying the distance.

Morning results...Dyke beat B&H,    East Brighton beat West Hove

Afternoon Plate match was won by Brighton and Hove

For the Trophy match it all came down to last match being halved to leave teams all square. So countback of holes up came into operation with East Brighton winning 12-5.

CENTENARY JUNIOR CUP 2026

 WEST HOVE hosted this event .....with very breezy conditions and fast running course.

Morning results..Dyke beat West Hove 4-1,   East Brighton bt B&H 3-2.

Afternoon finals...PLATE ..Brighton and Hove bt WHGC 5-0

For the trophy, the match between DGC and EBGC went down to the very last match with DYKE pair Gary Thompson and Phil Ayton coming through on 17th ..2-1 to secure the Junior Cup.

First CENTENARY EVENT SENIOR CUP 2026

 Held at East Brighton, this year's Senior Cup opened our centenary year.

In the morning semi-finals..East Btn beat West Hove  4-1,  B&Hove beat Dyke 3-2

The afternoon PLATE was won by Dyke GC 4-1 over West Hove.

SENIOR CUP TROPHY went to a strong East Brighton on their home course defeating Btn and Hove GC 5-0.
