FIRST EVENT ---2013 SENIOR CUP
Our opening event of the year was held at East Brighton on
Sunday April 14th.
Morning matches saw Brighton and Hove beat Dyke GC, and West Hove defeating the home team led by non-playing Captain Gary Brayshaw.
So the Plate final was between Dyke and East Brighton with East Brighton winning fairly easily 4-1.
The main event for the Senior Cup produced some fine golf and after 3 matches things were all square. But Gary Salt, Mark Gully, Elliot Meeten and Keith Fender in the last 2 matches saw West Hove through 3.5-1.5.
West Hove's team were:- Colin Harrocks, Mark Haggert, Dan Milligan, Damon Raikes, Steve Nielsen, Jonny Ingram, Gary Salt, Mark Gully, Elliot Meeten and Keith Fender.
