MIXED CUP 2009

The Dyke team of Andy Rogers (Capt), Alison Vans Agnew, Amanda and Gary Epstein, Dave and Pat Fitzpatrick, Robin Fuller and Jane Rogers, Paul Lewis and Deborah James won the BDGS Mixed Cup defeating runners up West Hove in a closely fought final, 3 -2 with the deciding match going to the 18th hole.

Brighton and Hove won the Mixed Plate (Mary Turton Trophy) beating East Brighton

Captains' Putter 2009

Brighton & Hove's team of James Russell, Eddie Hamilton, Brian Drew, John Vause, Chris Pett lead by Mike Davis won the Putter on 158. The Dyke and East Brighton both scored one less 157.

Professionals Trophy and Prize.

The BDGS Championships were held at Brighton & Hove G C on July 5th

In the mens' event Jamie Chapman (above) of Brighton & Hove G C shot a new course record of 64 in the morning. After lunch he added a 70 (total 134) to become BDGS Champion 2009. Runner up was Jonny Ingram of West Hove on 139 and third Danny O'Rourke (East Brighton) on 140.

The Ladies event was won by Tiffany Hewetson of East Brighton with scores of 79-72 (151),

Runner-Up was Emma Gill of the home club on 159.

New Junior Champion of 2009 is Lewis Jackson of West Hove with scores of 71-66 (137), Runner-Up Daisy Wakelin (East Brighton) on 150

The Mens' team Trophy went to Brighton & Hove with a 4 score total of 575

WEST HOVE WIN INTERMEDIATE CUP 2009

West Hove beat East Brighton in the final at West Hove. Brighton & Hove won The Plate.
